“ Great price, big portion, friendly staffs It’s more like a take-away place or Imbiss with some seats. Have to say the Chinese food there is a bit adjusted to European style but tasty still. Some dishes are quite oily, so not friendly for those who are on diet. ”

“ Consistently good Chinese wok dishes. Thank you to the Hainanese uncle for preparing all the yummy Chinese wok dishes. Recently I ordered #27 tomato fried rice with chicken and hot and sour soup for takeaway. It is served in a styrofoam box with a generous portion and reasonable pricing. The soup helps to balance the dryness of the fried rice. I can’t wait to return to try the other dishes. ”

“ I know I’ve been here only once, maybe a couple of weeks ago, but I enjoyed it. Ordered wan tans (see photo) which were small, but cheap, tasty, quick and crunchy. For a Main I had the crispy chicken with rice, veggies and peanut sauce (number 152, if I remember correctly...), which was tasty, cheap and a large, filling portion. It is a very small, casual space, but that’s not a surprise - it’s called Bistro Hong Kong for goodness sake! And if anything, that’s how it should be. Anyway the service is quick and friendly, so the turnover is frequent. If you really don’t want to wait, then just order takeaway from the bistro window out front and take it home. Would definitely come back for the good value, fast and tasty food. ”

My having owned a very successful Chinese restaurant in San Francisco, the super kind husband & wife team brought back fond memories of what working together as a happy family was all about. For the very 1st time in my life I was told to order less food! The vegetable fried rice was so delicious that I ate it with a spoon, down to the last kernel. My red curry beef was just as scrumptious, that my spoon also became my best friend. I have lived in and eaten my way through Frankfurt for 14 years. Knowing exceptional quality and value, I wholeheartedly recommend Bistro Hong Kong to all Frankfurters searching for freshly prepared and truly authentic Chinese food at very fair prices!!! Today's warm-up was a large bowl of chicken noodle soup that was very light in taste, and heavy on the always fresh protein and veggies. It is such a treat to enjoy a hefty bowl of very healthy soup for only 10 €, when other Asian restaurants in Frankfurt charge 19 € for a much smaller, less tastier and measly garnished broth. The extra crispy fried chicken was generously plated over peanut sauce, and accompanied by the best tasting white rice in Frankfurt.
